Use good styling and layout for examples

Our current top-level examples are not styled and even have a pretty bad layout:

This is much much worse than a typical rendering of this graph.

We should optimize this so that it

• produces a good layout
• is colored by the groups
• is possibly sized by degree

For a better layout, it might be possible to make the nodes/labels smaller?
