Describe the bug
Muse crashes immediately when adding a FluidSynth synth track.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Right-click on the mouse
  2. In "Add Track"', choose "Synths"
  3. In the list, select "FluidSynth MESS"
  4. Click on the "Select" button

Expected behavior
I expected the track to be created and functional.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Arch Linux 6.1.64-1-LTS
  • Desktop: LXQt 1.4.0

Additional context

  • Muse 4.2.1
  • FluidSynth 2.3.4-1

We have another report of this in issue #1245

It tests OK here. I have the very latest of all packages.
Not sure what the problem could be.

Are you able to try the latest MusE AppImage release?
Or build from source?
