Plugin installs but does not work on OSX

Once installed on OSX (lion), no configuration options appear in the Window -> Preferences pane, and reloading does not work.

I checked out the latest master and ran it as an eclipse plugin. It does actually show up in the preferences and seems to work just fine... very strange.

It just doesn't work when i install it from the current update site.
