• SECRET_KEY is versioned in our settings file
• We will want to add a backend to serve emails
• In general, we should have a settings file not versioned, as this is a Public Repository

Suggested action items:

• add implementation to source from another settings file
• place a non-versioned settings file on the server containing all confidential info
