NScope no longer connecting to app

I checked the firmware and it said that it needed to reload. I said to upload the latest software and it said it was finished and that I should unplug the board and plug it back in. I did that and the board's lights no longer light up and the app says it can't see the board. I depressed the reset button and the board lights light up, but it still is not visible to the app????

I have unplugged and replugged the device and now all 4 lights are now on solid, but the app says it can't connect it.
Pushing the button distinguishes all the lights.
The app thinks I am running the latest software.

What operating system are you running on? Can you see the device in a device manager (on windows) or in the list of usb devices?

If you see nScope in the device list, it should not need resetting. It may help to follow these steps:

  1. Unplug nScope
  2. Close all nScope software
  3. Replug nScope
  4. Open nScope software

If the issue persists, try restarting your computer.

I can not seem to find any documentation or a getting started guide. If there are some, please provide a pointer.

Each time I interact with the device, I get a different set of results. I just reconnected the device and started the app and ot is listed in the devices with no error indication, all the lights are on and the app seems to be happy but there was a brief power bar, but now that is gone?

Now I can't stop the app from the X in the upper right hand corner?????
This time, I unplugged the device and the app tells me that the nScope stopped working. I plugged the device back in and I get a device not working from the OS and the device display says there is Driver error.

Plugging in the device, depressing the white button, starting the app and now I see a 0.47 W under the power bar. Then after a while the power bar goes away but the leds are still lit?

I wiggled the USB connector but the device is still visible to the OS.

I switched cables and now it seems to behaving more consistently. There should be checklist incuding the things that you mentioned as well as checking the USB and changing it for another.

The labs and examples should be fleshed out and should include the images that were mentioned.

Hows it going, I am having a similar issue where my nscope isnt being recognized by my computer running windows 10. Worked fine about a month ago, but now it isnt showing up in the software either. Any word on how to fix this error? Thank you!
