How does that "about" page work?

Hello,
Nice blog. Just found it and I am enjoying pretty much.
About the problem: how does that "about" page work? I created a markdown file inside content (content/about.md) but it shows up in the index page. I noticed your "about" page does not have the same behavior. What is the trick? Thank you!

There's a range over all the pages on the homepage... it checks if the page is of type "post" and only displays it in the list if it is. So, blog posts are made as type post, the about page wasn't given a type, which I think makes it have a default type of "Page".
