Cayley diagram preview for V4 looks different than in details

Both are valid Cayley Diagrams for that group. If you click that row in the main group list, it takes you to a group info page for V_4, which shows three Cayley Diagrams for it, as shown below. The one shown in the preview is the top one. The one you've shown large is the last one.
Group Explorer contains two Cayley diagrams for V4 designed in advance by the author of the group file, as well as allowing you to instruct Group Explorer to construct one for you. The preview shows one of the pre-written ones, but it opens up to a generated one. While arguably correct, that is certainly confusing and will be fixed. In the meantime you can choose the diagram you'd like to see in the Cayley visualizer by clicking on the Diagram button at the top of the right-hand column and selecting from the pull-down list, as described at https://nathancarter.github.io/group-explorer/help/rf-um-cd-options/index.html#choosing-which-diagram-to-view . Group Explorer now opens the same Cayley diagram in the visualizer that it showed in the preview.
