Scroll and Hint Modes both not working properly on extended display

Both hint and scroll modes have issues when I extend to an external display. It seems like Vimac is reading the external display as smaller than it actually is. You can refer to the screenshots below to see examples of each.

As a note, Scroll and Hint Modes both work fine on my main display, ie my computer's built-in screen when the external display is plugged in.

Another note, I am using a Mac and displaying onto a monitor. When I close the Mac screen (ie just displaying onto external monitor), the issues shown in the photo do not occur.
