I wondner what sensors are used. I am very interested in the topic and would love to contribute building such a device - particularly open source - but don't know if this is repo is still alive

I stopped working on this when I ran out of funds, but the README lists some hardware that you could get started with. Happy to chat if you want to do some work on this.

The link to the sensor doesn't work anymore. Great how you open sourced the project. Now at least your efforts aren't lost. People can build further on this.
