Icons not working on Input

Adding "icon add", for example, to a class on an input element doesn't actually add the icon.

Because those elements don't support pseudo-elements. It's mentioned in the README that only links and buttons support icons.

Ok, what would you suggest as the best way to get icons to work with inputs?

You can't without using them as a background of sorts
