Switch Excel driver to use qax-os/excelize

Currently the Excel driver uses github.com/tealeg/xlsx. This is no longer maintained.
It seems that qax-os/excelize is the undisputed Excel choice these days. We should switch to that.
An additional benefit is that excelize supports legacy Excel file formats, not just .xlsx.
