I put together https://github.com/RichardoC/gitlab-secrets today for gitlab, and was wondering if the maintainers of this project want to have this and equivalent scripts in one larger git-server-secrets repository?

Nice! Yeah, this sounds reasonable. I will think about it in the next few days, what would be the best way, and create a general repository for it.
