Version your releases?

Closed this issue · 7 comments

Is it possible for you to version your releases? I use version #'s in commit messages for my code, as well as for when I update the app description on the Play store, and it would be easier to mark down "updated pixelUI to 1.3.1" instead of "updated pixelUI to git commit 1a20sa3"

:)

Thanks!

Hi EvanRich !

I don't have do release version before because I don't have imagine many people use my library :).

But now I manage like that:
Master branch: tag version + changelog in readme file
Dev branch: developpement in progress !

What kind of application do you have develop ? (link? :) )

More people than you'd think ;)

Maybe I can add your app in the readme file :)?

Give me your application url 👍

The app is a virtual ticket store kind of thing, currently targeted for Finnish population. It can be found here.
There's also another app I'm working on right now using PixlUI.

Thanks!

I have add tags in repository (master branch). Now we have 1.0.0 to 1.0.4 PixlUI versions

ChangeLog is now available in Readme file.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I haven't been online much the last 2 weeks. I can send you some screenshots if you want of the app I'm working on, but it hasn't been released yet on the play store (in alpha testing right now), but if you would like some screenshots or what not, let me know and I'll get some of the early work for you where I've used this :)
