How to change synaptic device type?

There are tables in Chapter 9 of the user manual. But I don't know which variables they correspond to exactly.

For example, if I want to change the device type from the default Ag:a-Si to TaOx/TiO2, how do I change the Area in the framework? Which variables need to be modified?

Or if I want to use my own device to replace the default device setting, are the parameters in Table Ⅱ all the data I need to get?
