Number input no longer accepts periods

Hi again,

So sorry for the disturbance, I made a small mistake in the previous change, fixed with the patch I'm submitting via my new PR.
The regex introduced in the previous commit to check keyboard inputs would ignore periods.
These are required for decimal inputs.
