the ARC template gets assigned a template "preview" link to the rails template ('https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/project-templates/rails')
may this could be changed to whereever the ARC template lives
in script: project_template.rb.patch

That was indeed still something we meant to change. Good catch. We will change the preview link pointing to the ARC template repository.
