Is it possible to create Nginx reverse proxy on the fly without a configuration file?

I am not entirely sure I know what you mean? The simple answer is no, you need an NGINX configuration file for NGINX to work. If you have NGINX Plus, however, you might be able to configure some reverse proxy capabilities using NGINX's rest API.

That being said, this is not the right place to ask NGINX questions. Only issues directly related to the Wiki should be created here. I would suggest asking via the NGINX Open Source mailing list (http://mailman.nginx.org/mailman/listinfo/nginx) or Stack Overflow if you want more help.
