Interface often hangs on "fetching mod list"

Often stuck at 50% for long periods of time, sometime even at 100%.
Hard to tell it's it's doing anything at all, if click refresh will make things worse ...

That's an issue with the old Knossos release (0.14.3 and earlier) and already fixed in the rewrite.
