Question: easy way to capture stats?

I'd like to quantify some basic things, like how many segments were skipped, time saved, etc. Can this be done easily already? Maybe with another tool? If not, does anyone have recommendations for how I might do this? Is it best done in sponsorblockcast, or one of the dependencies, go-chromecast, etc.?
