Description:

The goal of this task is to create a basic configuration file in YAML format for a hypothetical application. The configuration file should contain the following information:

  • Application name
  • Version
  • Host
  • Port
  • Database configurations (name, username, password)

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The configuration file must be written in YAML.
  • It should contain all the aforementioned details.
  • The file should be properly formatted according to YAML syntax.

How to get started

Open the tasks/yaml/easy directory from the root of your project.
Then open up the config.yaml file and once it is properly created according to the YAML syntax, you are done and ready to make a pull request!
Note: You can test your YAML code in a editor like this.

Check out README.md for more instructions and how to make a pull request.
