Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (Go)

Hello World in Go

Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!

The goal of this task is to write a simple "Hello, World!" program in Go.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The program must be written in Go.
  • When run, the program should print Hello, World! to the console.

Start by opening the tasks/go/easy directory from the root of the project.
Then open hello.go file and start working on your solution!

To test the program, you can run go run tasks/go/easy/hello.go to see if it works as expected.


To work with this issue, you need to have Golang installed to your local machine.
Check out README.md for more instructions of installing Golang and how to make a pull request.
