Fails to set a password for nixos installer

Hey I am just testing nixos-anywhere on a local QEMU vm.

After lots of issues I finally got the install working by adding my ssh key. it got to the nixos installer, which caused a reboot so the ssh got disconnected and now I get the following text on the vm:

and nixos-anywhere is stuck on "ssh: connect to host 192.168.122.89 port 22: No route to host"

I imagine this is not intended, not sure if I did something wrong or if its a bug?

nevermind, I just realized that the vm for some reason got its IP changed...
