SolPipLog wont load saved config on boot

Hello,
I am running a RPi 3B+ with the full raspbian system. I have a solpiplog.desktop file in my boot folder. The app launches just fine except it doesnt load the saved config and therefore doesnt run. Am I doing something wrong.
