Information / brainstorm / input session w/ all of the “locale” groups

  • Note: This would be owned by the Facilitation WG or the Collaboration WG … if they existed.

Summary: Have a series of meetings (at multiple time zones), as well as async discussion session with/among the following parties:

  • Intl WG
  • Website WG
  • Docs WG
  • Evangelism WG?
  • each of the locale groups such as iojs-es. Ideally some representation by each, but open to all (infrastructure permitting).

Timeframe:

  • async - text-based discussion
  • have "duplicate" meetings over (say) 3 different hours ( 8 hour intervals ) .
  • have another round of "duplicate" meetings later (a week later?) for followup

Content:

  • presentation of information from the Intl, Website, Docs, Evangelism WGs
    • describing scope/projects of each WG
    • discuss new docs/website procedures
    • discuss opportunity for involvement in assisting Intl WG
  • opportunity for q&A, brainstorming

Can represent iojs-id here, although the team has been very inactive since the start of July.

Is this going to be hangouts on air? If not, I'd be happy to attend with @snostorm for the website group to stay on top of what's going on.

I will create a hangout, and I can invite you, but we can't do hangout on air without dropping the phone bridge, there is no way that I know of, to call into the bridge from the hangout on air.

Closing due to inactivity. Feel free to pick this up again in the main nodejs/node repo. This one will probably be read-only soon. It will probably get more attention there anyway.
