Making this into a plugin can have so many features, from syntax highlighting, to type checking.

I recommend you to check the Plugin Docs and make this into a Plugin.

@sairam4123 Hi. I already working on PyCharm plugin for Kivy framework. It's not very easy to make it by one person, so I'll publish my code in the next few months. It also will have support for ids dictionary in Python, EventDispatcher and Kivy properties features, etc.

Upd: I am not using Kivy now, so I have stopped my work on this plugin.

I agree. This was meant to be just a "poor man's" solution.. ;o)
A plugin would be much, much better, but it also needs more skills and a lot more time that I can spare..
