Hey there, Since we're not able to pay for the bot, we decided to uninstall it - but we're still getting the messages in every PR...
I could block the bot user but prefer not to...what am I doing wrong?

Not sure if you figured this out already and closed the issue, but if you haven't.
There's two components to a GitHub Marketplace App, the Installation and the Marketplace subscription. You can delete one and not the other.
I think you cancelled the marketplace subscription but didn't uninstall the App. You can uninstall it by going to https://github.com/settings/installations and then clicking configure next to Pull Request Size, and then Uninstall at the bottom of the page.
