Volume slider does not slide on mobile

I noticed this on an iPhone 5S with Safari and Firefox:

The volume slider can be set to a specific value when touching on a point inside the volume range, but it's not possible to drag the volume bar to another position.

This makes is painful to adjust minor volume changes.

Dragging works on desktop with Firefox and Chrome.

I'm seeing the same thing on a 5S. The rest of the controls work fine. Tapping or sliding on the volume bar doesn't seem to work.

I have the same problem on a Android phone. Minor adjustements are very difficult: I have to turn the volume very low, and then to turn it to the new place.
And like the slider is very tight, it is very imprecise.
Maybe, two buttons "+" & "-" placed beside the slider will help.
