Please add tags to your repository to mark the release version.

That s a good point. Are we not doing this on SQLiteProvider? We should follow a similar path to ImageLoader

I'd prefer a branch because we have to set the release version number.

Slipped my mind actually, yeah we can still do that with tags Volker and GitHub tags give you a lot of descriptive space.

Nice. Please also consider maintaining a CHANGELOG.md file or using GitHub Releases to inform users about the major development history. Worth mentioning but I pretty sure you are doing this already: Semantic versioning.

I checked and the tag for 1.0.1 is there and will be applied from here on out. So I'm going to close this issue now.
