should robots announce to a certain channel that they've changed?

could littleroom notice when it has re-launched after a new build and post a link to the commit and the summary of its own changes?

(Basically I do this manually now by having a little staged conversation with littleroom where I try to demonstrate its new features.)

is it technically possible to indicate a major/minor change (ala wikipedia)? imo, I like announcements for new major features/fixes, but some of the minor changes don't seem worthy of a post.
(on the other hand, that could also be an argument for only committing and merging at major points)
in general, i'm open to the idea, though I could see cases when it becomes annoying to other users.
