Permanently hide controls

Trancol opened this issue · 7 comments

Please add a way to permanently hide controls and only bring them up if the mouse cursor is hovered near the bottom side.

Here you go. You will find "invert trigger" in the addon options. Activate it and change the trigger distance from the bottom to somewhere around 70. Than this addon should behave the way you wanted.

Please let me know of any further problems you encounter.
Cheers!

Thanks. It works perfect.

The feature works but sometimes it doesn't and I have to reload a page for it to work again.

I noticed that to. But I could not figure out why. Do you know a way to reproduce this reliable?

I think I figured out how to reproduce it reliably. If you open the Youtube homepage or any other Youtube page that is not a video page first, and open any video in the same tab afterwards, the bug should be reproduce. The feature you just add will continue to not work if you keep using the same tab. The only way to fix would be to reload the page (once is enough).

If you open a video in a new tab or open a video page from outside of youtube (any other link), the feature should work just fine even if open any other video from that same tab.

Cool! Thank you.

Should be fixed now.
