In the Sofie-project at NRK we work in sprints, generally 2-3 weeks long and we'll communicate the status of each release here. The releases are also documented here.
Note: This issue is subject to change and will be updated as development progresses.
Development status
The development is planned to start 2022-01-13.
This release is planned to be frozen 2022-02-02.

Summary of features
The main focus of this release is 'Multi-threaded core', as well as small bug fixes. This should help make performance more consistent.
- Multi-threaded core - Execution of playout and ingest operations are done in worker_threads, to reduce the amount of work done in the single meteor thread.
- Meteor upgrade to 2.5 - Runs on Node 14, and uses MongoDB 4.4
- AdlLibs from other ShowStyles are shown as disabled
- Ask for confirmation before restarting playout-gateway
- Improve accuracy of package framerate detection
- Various other fixes and small improvements
