Precaching particles in CS:S

I'm attempting to set up the auras using the included 2j.pcf and the example config file, however, I am getting these errors:
Attemped to precache unknown particle system "fire_vixr_final"!
Attempting to create unknown particle system 'fire_vixr_final'
Is this feature working with CS:S? The pcf file downloads when I join so it should be able to locate it.
I've also tried using various downloader plugins to no success.

probably you need to convert the .pcf to compatible version for css. since the .pcf mention is for csgo
