NTR: two new terms for internal temperatures of Precision Infrared Thermometer [BODCNVS-2254]
Closed this issue · 3 comments
Instrument:
Eppley Precision Infrared Radiometer (L22:TOOL0083http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/L22/current/TOOL0083/).
Two new terms we need:
-
Internal temperature of the instrument case for the Precision Infared Radiometer.
-
Internal temperature of the instrument dome for the Precision Infared Radiometer.
Suggestions to originator:
- Temperature of the instrument case (internal) of the Precision Infrared Radiometer
- Temperature of the instrument dome (internal) of the Precision Infrared Radiometer.
or - [Temperature] of [radiometer case] by [internal thermistor]
- [Temperature] of [radiometer dome] by [internal thermistor]
Originator response - both options proposed are viable. Second set of options are more concise.
Will need:
New S04:
Internal thermistor - A semiconductor with large linear changes of resistance as a function of temperature located within an instrument to measure internal temperature.
New S29s:
radiometer case - The property relates to a condition (typically temperature) within an infrared radiometer. Applies to a location in the radiometer case.
radiometer dome - The property relates to a condition (typically temperature) within an infrared radiometer. Applies to a location in the radiometer dome.
P01s created:
TMPRDCS1 – temperature of radiometer case by internal thermistor
TMPRDDM1 – temperature of radiometer dome by internal thermistor
