Broken "disable update check" setting

Setting "disable update check" ON doesn't stick and resets after rebooting.

Repro:

  • Set "disable update check" ON (checked)

  • reboot

the setting is OFF again, and I am prompted with the annoying upgrade message.

I've tracked down the issue and pushed a fix, which will be in available in the next version.
