Separate frontend and backend between heroku apps

I need to figure out how to separate frontend and backend to build exclusively in their corresponding apps on Heroku:
- https://zjmpyr63-currency-converter-2.herokuapp.com for backend
- https://zjmpyr63-currency-converter.herokuapp.com for frontend
Or maybe I am missing something and these two processes can exist in one app?
