Expected Behavior

The Elgato Stream Deck plugin should load (Stream Deck 7.0.0 should be able to communicate with OBS Studio) and the Elgato Stream deck plugin should be listed under tools in OBS Studio.

Current Behavior

The Elgato Stream Deck plugin does not appear to load (Stream Deck 7.0.0 is not able to communicate with OBS Studio) and the Elgato Stream Deck plugin is not listed under tools in OBS Studio.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install the current version of Stream Deck (7.0.0).
  2. Open OBS Studio.
  3. Click on Tools.
  4. Elgato Stream Deck is not loaded and is not listed.

Anything else we should know?

@hoga2443 check in the Stream Deck -> Settings -> Plugins that the OBS Studio plugin is up to date.

Current verison is 2.2.8
I had 2.2.5 installed which wasn't working but I updated the plugin in Stream Deck and it's back working for me

@BarryCarlyon, that was a good idea. Unfortunately, already I'm running Stream Deck Plugin Version 2.2.8 and OBS Plugin Version 5.5.3.1

This is a duplicate of #12576

Elgato is aware of the issue, the plugin is not currently compatible with OBS 32. I do not have an ETA when it will be available.

Yeah seems ok on mac but not windows sadly.

Copy/pasting my comment from the other report: The next update to Stream Deck will include an updated version of the OBS Studio plugin which fixes a plugin loading issue on Windows and a crash on macOS. We're looking to get that release out in the next weeks. Thank you for the reports and feedback!

@Vide0phile, that's great news! Thanks so much for working on it!
