Spruce up /docs page

Right now the page is blank and could use something to make it look less plain

Some ideas:

  • A grid of tiles of services and documentation we provide, example here. Possible problem: these tiles could be redundant with the content already in the sidebar.
  • Information about how to navigate the documentation and search. Could help people find what they're looking for (positive usability impact)
  • Put FAQs directly on the documentation page instead of having a separate page for them

This could be a good first issue, you can do a lot of cool layouts using Bulma!

Assigning myself to this for now. Additionally, there is a lot of information in the docs that requires extra clicks to get to that could be incorporated into the page. For example, at /docs/charter/ I'd like to embed the doc into the page. I sent in a request for edit access because I can't publish the doc to web without approval.

@raviriley Any progress on this? I'm happy to take it on myself if you aren't able to work on this

Hey @bentref haven't touched this in a while! Just pushed my changes and submitted draft PR #254
