@octaviopardo, do you have an estimated time for the next (and first release)? Or did it happen already elsewhere?

Many thanks for your help and your excellent work.

Hi Pablo, thanks for your words but you are asking the wrong man :) Dave Crossland is the one you should ask for this.

Wouldn't Dave Crossland just be for the Google Fonts version? Not knowing how to best work with the source files myself, it'd be great to just have some OTF/TTF files available.

@andersju what do you mean by release, if not on Google Fonts?

@davelab6 Like this: https://bitbucket.org/georgd/eb-garamond/downloads

i.e., an archive with OTF/TTF files (and possibly web formats), for those of us who use EB Garamond for non-web stuff and don't want to wait for it to be available from Google Fonts, or want to use the "full" version on the web or elsewhere (I believe the Google Fonts version only has a subset of all the glyphs, for performance reasons? Lots of neat stuff in the unicode private use (?) area!)

@andersju okay cool, yes we can put a release ZIP to https://github.com/octaviopardo/EBGaramond12/releases

@octaviopardo did you work on the PUA chars?

I worked on the glyphs but I haven t touched the Unicode at all. But yes, the files on this repository have hundreds of glyphs in the PUA that now have a bolder version

Okay great :)

Any update on this? :-) @davelab6

According to @georgd the bold set is complete, and now it’s being reviewed.

I hope the review is finished soon and EB Garamond merges the bold font for a new release.

What's next on the line?
Math fonts? ;)
I really hope so!

Math font would be awesome. Currently using Euler Neo (https://github.com/khaledhosny/euler-otf), but it’s incomplete and abandoned. A good math font to match EB Garamond would be a very great thing.

But for now, I’m just hoping bold will be here for my PhD thesis manuscript.

Are there any news from the review process? Is there now an ETA?

Hi! I have added OTFs that you can download and use if you want. Enjoy!

Thank you very much. They look great!

@octaviopardo, many thanks for the release.

I have some questions on certain glyph designs (but they belong to new issues).

Many thanks again for the release.

Just in case people wouldn’t have noticed otherwise, @octaviopardo released a new 0.8 version last week, which fix a lot of issues and is amazing. :)

@ArchangeGabriel I've been looking at it today.
