Tagging release

Opened this issue · 4 comments

Hi,

Could you tag the 1.0 release and attach tarballs with the corresponding OTF/TTF files so that there is an easy way to download them?

Thanks!

+1 because if you tagged the 1.0 release, it's easy to release on CTAN like ebgaramond12.
I want to add bold font to CTAN different from ebgaramond package.

I would also like to have both the ebgaramond and the ebgaramond12 available in CTAN.
As far as I can understand, both projects will continue to be separate.
Thanks!

It was also considered to default to old style figures for releases outside of Google Fonts. Is this still an option?

Maybe @georgd is even interested in consolidating the two branches to create a true v2 of the original font? That would ease the confusion about naming a lot and will make it much easier the find and recommend both the original work and the new expansions to users outside of Google Fonts.

@ndandanov Now we are able to use both font in ebgaramond package because the package maintainer includes this font into one package.

For me I have no problem about this issue, but I think it should keep this issue until something to reply from the owner.
