Summary
Problem
The Chrome Web Store has stopped accepting new Manifest V2 extensions as of January 17, 2022: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/mv3/intro/#start-the-conversion
Impact
We will not be able to publish the extension to the Chrome Web Store.
Solution
Upgrade the existing extension code to Manifest V3.
