Since I also added a new option @tmux_window_name_use_tilde
If set to "True" $HOME is replaced with ~ in the window names, without this plenty of my window names were mostly: /Users/jaclu/

You might not want both via a pull request? Let me know if you want both, otherwise, I will just send you a diff for the Darwin support.
