What happened to the old way of auto-completing rake tasks (a la .rake_tasks~)

I upgraded and this functionality is missing. Is there some way I can get it back. The autocompletion for rake tasks takes a long time now and does not do much.

I'm just counted to 20 waiting for the rake autocomplete in a medium sized rails project so I'm going to bump this one.
