Data is not comparable across years. Fix timeline? Fix data source?

Timeline tab: As is, it implies that data is comparable for all countries across all years. This is especially problematic with some of the custom options like Strength of Legislature, as we know that these data are not comparable (because we changed the groupings, but most importantly we added some questions). For the questions that are available only for 2012, but were not existing in previous rounds (example question 104), appear as “zero” in the previous years. I wonder whether we can write “NA”? Otherwise it may be misleading.

You can't write N/A because the score combines, like, fifty questions and only one of them isn't comparable.
Either:

• They should drop this
• They should provide a beter Excel spreadsheet
• We can't have a timeline view
