Rework countdown to handle style switch and allow canceling

Closed this issue · 4 comments

If you use the non-graphical countdown and set the counter to 20:00, the timer refreshes only every 13 seconds.

I can't reproduce that here. Did you maybe switch from graphical to non-graphical countdown after starting the countdown?

Ops, yes, I did that.

First gnome-tweak-tool crashed and then this strange refresh rate came up.

I'm a bit busy at the moment with the phd, but maybe I find some time to a) allow the countdown to be aborted and b) change the refresh rate, if the countdown type is changed.

Countdown can now be aborted via #45.
