Timeline merged into Sequence[EDIT]

I had three timelines in my project. I saved the project. The program crashed and when I went to reopen it only the third timeline was available. I later saw that sequence 1 was in the Media Port (the place where you upload videos, pictures, sound etc.). I opened up the sequence but it is now one thing. I wanted my timeline where each video was separated but now they are merged and it messed everything up. Is there a way to get back my original timeline? I want to edit the different video clips, not have them merged in one thing.
