Intermittently the install process for 1 or more AWS instances fails and the script hangs filling up the page with endless periods.
The problem is the location where jmeter is being downloaded from is becoming very slow. We need to identify a better location from which to download the jmeter bundle.

Changing the download location from the old archive.apache.org/dist/... to www.apache.org/dist/... seems to solve the problem.
There's a separate issue open on the dev mailing list to identify a better solution for distribution of the source files going forward - maybe bintray.com? - so I'm leaving this open for now.
