can't add an emoji, when I select it

:( what can I do? I installed it succesfully, I look for emoji toolbar, I select the emoji...nothing happens

Just simple questions to help narrow down the issue:

  1. Does the list of emojis close when you select an emoji?
  2. Do you have a blinking caret in your text? (You probably do, but I'm just making sure). This just ensures that the editor has focus and is in edit mode, not in preview mode.
