Selected emoji's not pasting

Description: I have installed the Emoji Toolbar plugin in Obsidian 1.1.16, but it is not working properly. When I use the emoji command, the picker appears, but it does not insert the selected emoji into my note. Additionally, if I use a colon and start typing in a note, no emojis appear. I have tried disabling some of my less critical plugins, but the issue persists.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Obsidian 1.1.16
- Install and enable the Emoji Toolbar plugin
- Use the emoji command or try to insert an emoji by typing a colon and starting to type the emoji name
- Observe that the selected emoji is not inserted and no emojis appear while typing.
Expected behavior: The Emoji Toolbar plugin should insert the selected emoji into my note or allow me to insert emojis by typing their names with colons.
Actual behavior: The Emoji Toolbar plugin does not insert the selected emoji into my note and no emojis appear while typing their names with colons.
Obsidian version: 1.1.16
Platform: macOS Ventura 13.2.1
