change to next modifier sets on selection or TAB, when the first modifier set is of type selection

I am using BORIS version 8.24. I am preparing an ethogram where some behaviors have three modifiers: a selection modifier and two numeric modifiers. When I select the first modifier, e.g. via a keyboard shortcut, I think I cannot switch to the next modifier by keyboard. When I'm in a numeric modifier set, I can use TAB to switch to the next set.

Ideally, entering the keyboard shortcut for the slected modifier would automatically switch the next modifier set. Alternatively using TAB could be an option.
