keys not sending while power button works

I have a QLED tv and I can't seem to be able to send keys to the tv.
In the following screen, i can control the power state of the tv fine with the power button on the right side.
But when i try a action, it does not execute. I'm new to home assistant, so it can very well I am doing something wrong. or is my tv not supported?
Already swapped the content id and content type around, used it with and without brackets...no luck. even the key that turns power off is not working, while again, at the main device screen the power button is working.
Help to figure out the cause would be appriciated!
